In The CW’s upcoming drama “CULT,” Matt Davis plays investigative journalist Jeff Sefton, who goes on a mission to uncover the dark underworld of a TV show and its rabid fans, after his brother mysteriously disappears.
On the big screen, Davis is well-known for his role in the hit film, “Legally Blonde,” where he played Warner Huntington III, the boyfriend who dumps Elle Woods (Reese Witherspoon), thereby motivating her to follow him to Harvard Law School. Davis also appeared in Michael Bay’s blockbuster, “Pearl Harbor,” “Blue Crush, directed by John Stockwell, and “Seeing Other People, directed by Wallace Wolodarsky. He starred in the comedy “Finding Bliss,” opposite Leelee Sobieski, the WWII drama “Below,” with Bruce Greenwood and Zach Galifianakis, and in Joel Schumacher’s Vietnam drama “Tigerland,” with Colin Farrell.
Additional film credits include “Heights,” with Glenn Close and James Marsden, “Waiting for Forever,” with Rachel Bilson and Nikki Blonsky, and “S. Darko,” with Elizabeth Berkley and Ed Westwick.
On television, Davis was a regular on “The Vampire Diaries,” “What About Brian?” and had a recurring role in the critically acclaimed drama “Damages.” He was a guest star in “Law & Order: SVU” and appeared in the pilot “Limelight.”

Jessica Lucas plays Skye Yarrow, a young research assistant who teams up with investigative journalist Jeff Sefton (Matt Davis) on a mission to uncover the dark underworld of a TV show and its rabid fans on The CW’s new drama series “Cult.”
Lucas has quickly established herself as a highly sought-after young actress in film and television. She was recently seen starring opposite Martin Lawrence and Brandon T. Jackson in the comedy “Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son,” the third installment in the “Big Momma’s House franchise. In 2008, she was seen in one of the most anticipated films of 2008, J.J. Abrams’ “Cloverfield.” The sci-fi thriller opened at number one at the box office. Lucas will next be seen on the big screen in remake of “Evil Dead.” She will star opposite Jane Levy and Shiloh Fernandez in the film about a group of friends who discover a book of the dead that leads to danger and horror. The film is set to be released in April 2013.
Lucas’ television credits include two much-buzzed-about recurring roles on “90210” and “CSI.” She quickly became a fan favorite for her arc on “90210,” when her character, Kimberly, an undercover cop posing as a student at West Beverly High, became involved with teacher Ryan Matthews (Ryan Eggold). Her other television credits include series regular roles on the popular Canadian teen drama “Edgemont,” “Friends with Benefits,” “Melrose Place” and the short-lived, yet critically acclaimed series “Life As We Know It.”
Born and raised in Vancouver, Canada, Lucas has been acting since she was 7 years old. She began her professional training with Children’s Theatre Arts and quickly earned theater credits in local productions of “Snow White & The Seven Dwarves,” “Grease,” “Cinderella,” “Mousetrap” and the “Music Medley” series. Lucas quickly transitioned to film and television. Her film credits include DreamWorks’ romantic comedy “She’s the Man,” opposite Amanda Bynes, and a lead role in the Screen Gems/Lakeshore Film “The Covenant,” opposite Taylor Kitsch and Chace Crawford.
Lucas currently splits her time between Vancouver and Los Angeles.
ALONA TAL as KELLY COLLINS/MARTI GERRITSEN
In the CW’s new drama series “Cult,” Alona Tal stars in the dual role of Kelly Collins/Marti Gerritsen. In the parallel worlds of this show-within-a-show, Kelly Collins is an LAPD detective in a fictional television series, who finds herself investigating the activities of the cult she escaped from years ago, and Marti Gerritsen is the actress who plays Kelly.
Tal captured the industry’s attention last November upon beating out Hollywood’s hottest “it” girls for a breakout role in the Allen Hughes directed film “Broken City.” She stars opposite Mark Wahlberg in this political thriller about an ex-cop turned private investigator who trails the wife of New York City’s mayor only to find himself immersed in a larger scandal. This film co-stars Russell Crowe and Catherine Zeta Jones and will be released in January 2013.
Born and raised in Herzliya, Israel, Tal spent two years in the Israel Defense Forces, prior to becoming an actress. Upon graduating from the Army, her first starring role was the lead in Israeli film, “Lihiyot Kochav” (To Be A Star). During the filming of the movie she was offered roles in the soap opera “Tzimerim” and the sitcom “HaPijamot.” Tal did four seasons of the sitcom, which eventually gave her the chance to showcase her musical talent. Following this she recorded several songs with Israeli rapper, Subliminal.
Upon moving to the US in 2004, Tal landed a development deal with Warner Bros. Past television credit include recurring roles on “Veronica Mars” and “Supernatural,” and guest appearances on “Monk,” “The Cleaner,” “Lie To Me,” “The Killing” and “CSI.”
Tal attended the Thelma Yellin School of Arts in Tel Aviv, as well as the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in New York City. She considers music and acting both equal passions.
She currently splits her time between Vancouver and Los Angeles.
